Very Pleased by .. Ron Norwood (Salem, OR)
If you are diabetic, an A1c test is critical. A regular lab test runs about $100-125. My total cost with shipping was about $25. Got results back in about 2 weeks.
Biosafe (A1c) Test by .. G. Jordan ()
I tried one of these tests several months ago, and was generally satisfied with its accuracy and ease. However, as some other reviewers have pointed out, it does require quite a bit of blood, and unless you bleed freely you'll probably need more than one lancing to get enough. On my test there were three circles, and I was instructed to completely fill each of them with drops of blood. Each circle needed four drops or so to fill it. Fortunately I don't have an aversion to lancing, and as stated, I was satisfied with the test's accuracy and the time it took to get the results. The test has the option to have the results sent to you personally or to a doctor.
Econonical and accurate! by .. R. L. Stone (Daytona Beach, Florida)
The test results from Biosafe Lab. was within 3% of the results from my Doctors Lab results, and at less than half the cost!
Min (DM 2 for 20+ years) by .. Min Sun Yee (Medina, WA USA)
This is a fine product. Directions are clearly illustrated and easy to follow. If you only need "three drops" of blood, they will have to be very large drops; still, if you're used to pricking your fingers, this should be no big deal.
Cost is very reasonable. Test results came promptly in the mail.
And the results matched a laboratory A1C, I had performed during the same week, just to confirm the results, and help me decide whether I want to use the BioSafe kit again. I definitely do plan to use it again, and again...and....

test performed as advertised, but does require several drops of blood, not just a single drop, like a normal blood tester, so be prepared with extra sticking devices.
