Discard used Test Strips and Lancets into an appropriate container (biohazard/for sharps objects). Directions Read all instructions included in packaging before testing. Write date first opened on Test Strip vial and Glucose Control bottle label, and check expiration dates. Allow TrueTrack Meter, Test Strips, and Control to reach room temperature before testing. Wash area to be lanced. Take one Test Strip from vial. Recap vial immediately. Insert Test Strip into Test Port. Obtain blood drop. Touch Sample Tip of Strip to blood drop and allow blood to be drawn into Test Strip. Result is displayed. Record result on log book. Remove Strip. Discard in appropriate container.
